Crochet jewelry

This days I have been working on several crochet jewelry items, I'm pretty happy with the results, so I updated the blog today with those creations

First an i-cord bracelet, this is made with two i-cords of different colors, a chain and a plastic gem:

Then a crochet head chain, made with nylon yarn and plastic gems, this turn out very pretty so I made it also in blue and it can be used as a head chain, a bracelet or a necklace :)

Crochet choker

I'm very happy with my new choker, it can also be a baby crown :)

For the ones who wonder how I did it, this is my diagram (sorry, I'm not very good with diagrams, but I did my best)

Crochet necklace w/ beads

This is my first time working with beads, and it well quite well, so I'm happy to introduce you to my first crochet necklace with beads.

How do I did it:
Insert the beads in to the yarn with a needle, then start the necklace:

Chain 5, then chain 2 that are going to be like a double crochet

Double crochet in the next 4 stitches

Turn arround and make one double crochet in each stitch (5)

Repeat until you have 10 rounds

Then chain 5, grab a bead, chain 5 and repeat until you have a long long chain (6 times the desired long of your necklace).

Divide your chain into 6 equal parts and grab them on the other side with 5 chains, make the other end the same way you started, with 10 rounds of 5 double crochets, make a button hole at the end.

When you finish, grab the other ends to the first part (I did that with thread) and finaly add a button :)

It really took me an effort to write this down in english, so if you have any recomendations please tell me.

I recently discover icords and I really wanted to make something with this technique, so, I looked for pinterest inspiration and between pins and my own jewelry I came out with this design, hope you like it!

Today I bring another necklace to share with you. I used a plastic ring of 1'' and cover it with single crochets to create a charm, then add a pendant connector and a jewelry chain and ta-da!

Crochet Ring Necklace

Today I finished another crochet accessory project, here are the instructions:

What did i use:

- a 1" plastic ring

- omega yarn no. 6

- a steel hook no. 4

- scissors

- a metal jewelry chain
- pliers
- pendant connector

How did I did it: 

Yellow yarn:

1 Rnd:  knot in the ring, 1 chain, sc over the ring (46), sl st

2 Rnd: chain one, sc over first round, sl st 

Pink yarn:

3 Rnd: chain one, 12 sc over last round (about 1/4 of the ring), 29 single chains, 12 sc on the ring, sl st (53)

4 Rnd: chain one, 1 inc (2 sc in same stitch), 3 sc, 1 inc, 3 sc, 1 inc,17 sc, 3 sc un next stitch, 17 sc, 1 inc, 3 sc, 1 inc, 3 sc, 1 inc, sl st (61)

5 Rnd: chain one, 2 sc, 1 inc, 4 sc, 1 inc, 4 sc, 1 inc, 17 sc, 3 sc in next stitch, 17 sc, 1 inc, 4 sc, 1 inc, 4 sc, 1 inc , 2 sc, sl st (69)

Yellow yarn:

6 Rnd: chain one, 5 sc, 1 inc, 5 sc, 1 inc, 22 sc, 3 sc in next stitch, 22 sc, 1 inc, 5 sc, 1 inc, 3 sc (75)

7 Rnd: chain one, 3 sc, 1 inc, 6 sc, 1 inc, 26 sc, 3 sc in next stitch, 26 sc, 1 inc, 6 sc, 1 inc, 3 sc (81)
Fasten off and insert the pendant connector =)

Hat for a hat party!!

I recently received an invitation for a "Hat Party", so I looked for something interesting on Pinterest and I found this wonderful little hat pattern, so I decided to make my own version and here is the result:

I was really pleased with my own crochet hat, so, I leave you a picture with me wearing it (Yes, he is my husband)

While I was making my blouse I also spend some of my crocheting time making some accessories for me and my friends, I found the headband on the internet and the necklace just came out of my mind...
